The moment a child in Thailand is hit by a car group

Nine Buddhist monks and several devotees were involved in a fatal accident in Mukdahan province, northeastern Thailand, after a vehicle struck the group during a religious procession. According to local police reports, the incident occurred while a procession consisting of approximately 35 monks and five devotees was walking along a road. The collision was caused by a truck driven by an 11-year-old boy.

Authorities stated that the young boy had taken his parents’ truck without authorization and subsequently lost control of the vehicle, resulting in the impact. The accident resulted in multiple casualties. Police confirmed that five monks died at the scene, and an additional four passed away later at the hospital.

Several other individuals sustained injuries, with some remaining in critical condition while others are receiving ongoing medical treatment. The scene of the collision showed signs of disruption, including scattered personal belongings and significant damage to the involved vehicle. Investigators are currently examining the circumstances surrounding the accident involving the child driver.

The incident has prompted an official investigation to determine the full sequence of events that led to the truck hitting the group of monks and devotees.
