The Ministry of Public Security (MPB) has announced that criminal charges have been filed against several individuals from Skopje in connection with the assault of a young child. According to the MPB’s statement, the victim, who is 14 years old, sustained injuries resulting from both a heavy object and a sharp instrument. The charges were formally brought by the SPB Skopje – Violent Crime Unit to the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Skopje.
The three accused individuals, identified as J.J. (19), V.S. (23), and V.A.
(19), all residents of Skopje, are formally charged with the crime of “assault on a child,” citing Article 201-a of the Penal Code. Authorities reported that during the investigation, a knife, believed to be the weapon used in the commission of the crime, was recovered from the scene. This item has been submitted to experts for detailed forensic examination.
The legal action initiates criminal proceedings against the suspects based on the reported assault. The charges detail the use of multiple instruments during the incident involving the minor. The investigation continues to process the evidence collected to support the charges brought against the three individuals.
