The Kosovo Police have reported two separate instances of armed robbery that took place in different locations within Kosovo. The incidents occurred in Vërmicë and in the area of Bjeshka e Jabllanicës së Vogël in Pejë. In both documented cases, unknown individuals forcibly entered private residences and stole various items, including weapons, ammunition, and other equipment.
The first reported incident took place on “Afrim Haliti” street in Vërmicë. The complainant, a Kosovar citizen residing abroad, reported that on March 3, 2026, she discovered her home’s door open upon entering the yard. Upon entering the property, she observed that rooms and furnishings had been demolished.
According to her statement, four weapons belonging to her sons, who live abroad, were stolen from the house. These stolen items included two pistols, one carbine, and one hunting rifle. The police are investigating the details surrounding these two cases.
The nature of the break-ins suggests targeted theft, with the primary loss in the first incident being firearms and related materials. Authorities are continuing their investigation into both locations to identify the perpetrators involved in these criminal acts across Kosovo.
