Millions from Serbia to accuse for the attack in Banjska

Reports indicate that “Rad 028,” the construction firm owned by Radul Steviqi, may not be physically situated at the address where it is registered within the Serbian system, according to Radio Free Europe. Despite this discrepancy, the company continues to receive multi-million dollar construction contracts from Serbian institutions. Furthermore, both Steviqi and his company have been subject to U.S.

sanctions for the past five years. These sanctions stem from alleged connections to Milan Radoičić and Zvonko Veselinović, alongside accusations involving organized crime and corruption. In Kosovo, Steviqi also faces charges related to his alleged involvement in the armed attack in Banjska.

Recent activity suggests continued engagement with the firm. Since the beginning of this year alone, Serbian institutions have awarded the company ten contracts, valued at over one million euros. This awarding of substantial contracts is notable given that the company has reportedly completed fewer than twenty previous works.

The awarding of these funds to the company, despite the outstanding legal and jurisdictional issues surrounding Steviqi and the firm’s operational status, remains a point of focus.
