Woman arrested at Pristina Airport – found with illegal firearms in luggage

At approximately 9:30 AM, authorities at the Pristina Airport “Adem Jashari” detained a woman believed to be from Kosovo following the discovery and seizure of ammunition from her luggage. According to reports, the inspection of the woman’s luggage revealed a significant quantity of items related to hunting. Specifically, officers confiscated 13 hunting cartridges, 20 empty hunting cartridges, and 245 hunting shells.

The woman was subsequently questioned by authorities regarding the materials found. Following this process, the prosecutor determined that charges should be initiated against her. Although a case was opened, the woman was later released under standard procedure.

The incident highlights security checks at the airport, leading to the seizure of regulated items. Authorities confirmed that investigations related to the discovery of the hunting ammunition remain ongoing.
