60 shoes and 30 motorcycles confiscated in the Ferizaj region

During the period spanning April 29 through May 5, 2026, the Ferizaj Regional Police conducted intensified traffic enforcement operations. These measures specifically targeted the operation and documentation compliance of motorcycles and scooters within the region. As a result of the focused campaign, law enforcement issued a total of 60 citations to riders found violating established road traffic regulations.

Furthermore, police authorities successfully confiscated 30 motorcycles and scooters. The primary reason cited for these confiscations was the lack of requisite or proper operational documentation. This initiative was executed under the operational plan titled “Increased Control of Motorcycle and Scooter Circulation.” The breakdown of the violations recorded by the police detailed specific areas of non-compliance.

The citations included 29 instances of operating a motorcycle without a valid driver’s license, 21 cases involving operation without proper vehicle registration, 8 instances of riders failing to wear protective helmets, and 2 citations for miscellaneous violations. The enforcement effort underscores the police commitment to enhancing road safety standards across Ferizaj. By increasing scrutiny of two-wheeled vehicles, the authorities aim to reduce traffic risks associated with poorly documented or improperly operated motorcycles and scooters.
