Fines issued to motorcycle drivers for violating rules in Pristina

The Directorate of the Capital Police has maintained its operational plan, “Motorcycle Control,” which focuses on inspecting motorcycles and enhancing overall traffic safety within the capital area. According to a recent police announcement, between February 2nd and April 6th, a total of 132 fines have been issued to motorcycle drivers for various traffic violations. Of the fines issued, 18 were specifically related to disturbances of public order and peace.

In addition to the penalties, 24 motorcycles have been seized as part of the ongoing enforcement efforts. The Capital Police stated that these activities are continuing with the primary objectives of increasing road safety standards and ensuring the maintenance of public order and peace. The initiative underscores the police department’s commitment to regulating motorcycle use on public roads.
