As a result of these enforcement activities, two vehicle drivers were penalized in accordance with the Road Traffic Law. The punitive measures issued to the drivers included a fine amounting to 500 euros, the assignment of five negative points, and mandatory preventative measures that involve the suspension of the driver’s license for a period of 12 months. The Regional Road Traffic Unit emphasized that these interventions are part of a continuous strategic planning process designed to elevate safety standards on the roads.
