NPL “Kastrioti” told citizens in Obiliq not to pay at KRM “Pastrimi”

NPL “Kastrioti” has issued an official notice detailing a significant change in waste management services for the Municipality of Obiliq. The announcement confirms that, pursuant to a formal agreement established with the Municipality of Obiliq, NPL “Kastrioti” has been designated as the responsible operator for waste collection and transport services throughout the entire municipal area. Consequently, residents and property owners within the municipality are advised to cease making any payments for waste services directed to KRM “Pastrimi.” The transition to the new service provider is scheduled to commence in June 2026.

Under the terms of the new agreement, NPL “Kastrioti” will assume exclusive responsibility for all financial aspects related to the service, including issuing invoices and managing payment collection. The enterprise emphasizes that this operational shift is directly based on the mutual agreement signed with the local municipal authorities. Therefore, all citizens are strongly requested to ensure that future payments for the waste management service are made solely according to the official invoices issued by NPL “Kastrioti.” Adherence to this updated payment structure is necessary to ensure continuity and proper billing for the waste collection services provided across Obiliq.

This procedural adjustment streamlines the service delivery framework for the entire municipality.
