The Municipality of Gjilani has finalized its public call for funding projects within the sectors of health and social welfare, resulting in the signing of contracts with fourteen beneficiary non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Under this initiative, the Directorate for Health and Social Welfare has allocated a total of 70,000 euros. These funds are designated to support projects focused on enhancing citizen services, promoting overall health, and strengthening social inclusion within the community.
Mimoza Kadriu Qerimi, the Director for Health and Social Welfare, stated that the primary objective of the public call was to back initiatives and programs that contribute directly to improving the welfare of the citizens. She elaborated that this support is multifaceted, encompassing the provision of essential social services, proactive health promotion activities, targeted assistance for vulnerable groups, and measures designed to bolster social inclusion.
