Time Kadrijaj, the Deputy Chair of the Alliance, has publicly urged Albin Kurti, the leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, to initiate political dialogue with the parliamentary parties concerning the establishment of new national institutions. Speaking on the day the results of the July 7 elections were officially certified, Kadrijaj informed KosovaPress that further delays are unwarranted. She stated that the onus now rests with LVV, as the declared election victor, to secure the requisite political backing for the presidency.
The deputy, who was elected through the Alliance, expressed concern regarding the perceived lack of concrete steps taken by Kurti to reach an agreement with other political entities. Kadrijaj noted that discussions regarding the necessary institutional framework should have commenced even before the formal certification of the parliamentary composition. “It is good that the results were certified,” Kadrijaj remarked, emphasizing that the political process cannot stall at this juncture.
She stressed that the Alliance expects proactive engagement from the winning bloc. Her statements underscore the expectation that the political parties must coalesce swiftly to ensure governmental stability. The focus remains on securing the necessary political support to advance the country’s institutional structure, a responsibility that, according to Kadrijaj, now falls squarely on the leadership of the Vetëvendosje Movement.
