Lumir Abdixhiku, Chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, announced that he intends to respond positively to a meeting invitation extended by Albin Kurti, the chairman of the LVV. Speaking on the matter, Abdixhiku stated, “Today I received an invitation letter for a meeting with the chairman of the LVV, Mr. Kurti, in a 1+1 format.
So, this time we will meet 2 to 2, and I will respond positively to this invitation.”
Conversely, the Alliance indicated that a meeting was unnecessary, maintaining that the prerequisites for unblocking key institutions remain unchanged. Kurti remarked, “I will make it public for the whole country that this is the first communication we have had so far. This is the first official communication we have had since the end of the elections.”
Following a leadership meeting of the LDK, Abdixhiku added that the respective teams would coordinate the scheduling of the proposed meeting.
“I believe our teams will arrange the meeting times,” he stated. The statements highlight differing approaches regarding the proposed dialogue between the two political figures and their respective parties.
