Fushë Kosova municipality warns: Measures will be taken starting October 10 for those who dump waste

The Municipality of Fushë Kosovë has announced a coordinated effort to prevent the accumulation of illegal dumpsites throughout the municipal territory. Authorities from the Directorate of Public Services and Environment, the Municipal Inspectorate, the Kosovo Police, and other relevant institutions will conduct monitoring to ensure compliance with waste disposal regulations for all citizens and entities. According to the official municipal notice, enforcement measures will commence on February 10.

These measures will target the improper disposal of various types of waste, including refuse originating from the Amvisë landfill, inert solid waste, and bulky items such as furniture, sofas, mattresses, doors, and windows. The directive specifies that all waste must be disposed of only within areas and points officially designated by the municipal authorities. The municipality has stressed that any individual found depositing waste in unauthorized locations will be subject to punitive actions in accordance with current legislation.

This initiative aims to maintain cleanliness and environmental integrity within the municipality. Residents and businesses are advised to adhere strictly to the established guidelines for waste management to support the municipal efforts.
