Albanian state steals a car and a house in Greece, after the incident, Mat is caught making a beach

A 44-year-old Albanian national was apprehended by Greek police following multiple incidents of theft in the region. The individual, who resided in the Istiaia area of Northern Evia, was involved in a series of criminal activities spanning two days. The events began on Friday when the Albanian man stole a vehicle from the yard of a private house in Edipsos.

Following the theft of the car, he proceeded to travel to the area of Fthiotida. The following day, the man was located in Nea Anhialos, where police reported that he forcibly entered a teacher’s residence. During this break-in, he stole various personal belongings, including jewelry, a watch, a laptop, a tablet, and numerous other items from the house.

The investigation into the theft was significantly advanced by the victim. The teacher was able to determine the man’s whereabouts in Glyfa, Ftiotidë, by utilizing a tracking application installed on a tablet. This information prompted immediate notification to the Stylda Police Station, leading to his subsequent arrest.

The police action successfully concluded the sequence of thefts that began with the initial theft of the car and culminated in the break-in at the residential property. The arrest brings an end to the sequence of thefts involving the Albanian national.
