The operation was executed by the Narcotics Investigation Section of the Local Police Directorate in Vlorë, operating under the direction of the Public Prosecution and with support from various operational services. The initiative followed the gathering of critical intelligence concerning multiple individuals suspected of transporting and distributing illicit drugs in the region.
During the execution of the operation, authorities apprehended five individuals in the Zvërnec area. The arrested persons represent both Albanian and Italian nationalities. The group included three Albanian citizens—N.
K., aged 20, R. H., aged 20, and M. M., aged 23—all residents of Lezhë.
Additionally, the arrests encompassed two Italian citizens: C. L., 42, who resides in Rome, and C. S., 37, from Palermo.
