The Municipality of Kamenica has announced a community initiative aimed at promoting public wellness: a dedicated Health Caravan. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, April 16, and will take place from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the ‘Metush Krasniqi’ Square within Kamenica. The municipal notice invites all residents to participate in the “For HEALTH” Health Caravan, which is designed to provide accessible information and professional counseling services to the community.
The scope of the health education provided will cover several critical lifestyle areas, including the importance of physical activity, risks associated with smoking and alcohol consumption, managing overweight conditions, and foundational nutrition practices. Participants will have the opportunity to receive direct health services from attending professionals. In addition to the educational sessions, the organizers have arranged for free food and beverages to be distributed at the conclusion of the event.
This comprehensive health initiative is organized by the Kosova Population Foundation (KOPF) as part of the AQH project. The effort is financially supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). The municipality encourages all citizens to attend the caravan in April to utilize these resources dedicated to improving local public health awareness.
