The Municipality of Kaçanik has issued a directive to all commercial entities operating within its jurisdiction regarding activities conducted outside standard business hours during the summer months. According to the official notice, any businesses intending to conduct operations outside of regular working hours are now mandated to secure a special permit before commencing such activities. Furthermore, the directive specifies that obtaining this permit is coupled with a financial obligation.
In adherence to Article 5 of the Regulation for Determining Working Hours for Business Entities within the Municipality of Kaçanik, all affected businesses must remit an additional tax payment. The Municipality of Kaçanik explicitly stated that “Businesses that wish to develop activities outside normal hours during the summer season are obliged to obtain a special permit in advance and pay the additional tax.”
This regulatory update aims to formalize and oversee non-standard operational hours across the municipality. To ensure compliance with these new stipulations, the Municipality has announced that its Inspectorate will be conducting routine inspections.
These inspections will verify that all entities operating outside of established daytime hours possess the requisite special permit and have settled the associated additional tax payments. The directive serves as a clear procedural guideline for commercial operations during the summer season, ensuring that all businesses adhere to the established regulations set forth by the municipality.
