Police officers from the SPB Skopje detained two individuals, M.V. (65) and S.V. (59), both residents of Skopje.
The arrests stem from allegations that on March 21, 2024, an incident occurred at a parking lot located in the Autokomandë neighborhood of Skopje, involving the death of A.T. Following an investigation involving various measures and activities undertaken by the police, and based on directives from the public prosecutor, evidence has been secured. Consequently, criminal charges have been filed against M.V.
for the act of murder, specifically under Article 123, paragraph 1 of the Penal Code. S.V. has been charged with the related offense of aiding and abetting the commission of a crime.
According to reports, the sequence of events began when the suspect S.V. heard that A.T. was meeting at the Autokomandë parking lot.
S.V. subsequently left in his vehicle. Shortly thereafter, M.V.
arrived at the scene. The police investigation has established the basis for the charges related to the death. The detention marks a significant development in the ongoing case.
The formal charges indicate that the police believe M.V. is responsible for the fatal act, while S.V.’s involvement centers on assisting in the cover-up efforts. The legal proceedings will determine the full extent of culpability for both men regarding the incident that took place in Skopje.
