Fifteen injured people were hospitalized in two clinics after the storm that hit Skopje

Fifteen individuals were hospitalized across two medical facilities following a storm that impacted Skopje this afternoon. Nine of the injured were admitted to the Clinic for Traumatology, Orthopedic Diseases, Anesthesiology, Resuscitation, Intensive Care, and the Emergency Center. The remaining six were taken to the “St.

Naum of Ohrid” Clinic for Surgical Diseases in Skopje. Igor Merxhanoski, the Director of the Clinic for Traumatology, reported that among the nine injured patients, two sustained more severe injuries. Specifically, one woman with a head injury is currently in the Neurosurgery department, and another patient has a broken arm.

Regarding the six individuals admitted to the “St. Naum of Ohrid” Clinic for Surgical Diseases, Director Nebojsha Nastov stated that their injuries primarily consisted of cuts and bruises. These patients are receiving treatment on an outpatient basis.

Furthermore, Mr. Nastov confirmed that three of the injured were examined and subsequently discharged home.
