The longest football table in the world debuted in Brooklyn

In celebration of the FIFA World Cup 2026, a New York-based tequila company, Teremana Tequila, constructed and tested a record-breaking foosball table. The company assembled a massive playing surface measuring 525 meters, a structure reportedly equivalent in length to 112 standard-sized units, according to reports. The installation was tested on a street in Brooklyn on November 11.

A representative from Guinness World Records was present at the event to officially verify that the structure held the title for the world’s longest foosball table. Guinness World Records judge Michael Empric commented on the scale of the event, noting that the construction was impressive up close, stretching across more than one city block, and that the proceedings proceeded smoothly despite warm weather conditions. This achievement surpasses the previous record measurement of 497 meters and 8.4 centimeters.

The successful testing underscores the scale of the undertaking, as the custom-built table served as a centerpiece for the World Cup commemoration. The event highlights the company’s dedication to celebrating the global sporting occasion through an unprecedented display of recreational equipment.
