From 24 to 120 Bursa this year – Aliu: When there is will and commitment, dreams become reality

The Municipality of Shtime recently hosted a ceremony at the City Library to distribute 120 scholarships for the 2025/2026 academic year. During the event, contracts were signed with the selected beneficiaries. Mayor of the Municipality of Shtime, Qemajl Aliu, addressed the gathering, characterizing the scholarship distribution as a significant achievement during his term.

He stated that prioritizing education represents the most crucial investment for the future prosperity of the municipality. Aliu highlighted a substantial increase in educational support within the community. He noted that the number of scholarships distributed has increased fivefold over the past three years.

He contrasted this growth with the initial period of his mandate, pointing out that only 24 scholarships were provided when he took office in 2021, compared to the current allocation of 120. The Mayor emphasized that this increase demonstrates the tangible results achievable through commitment and dedication. He affirmed the municipality’s ongoing commitment to its youth, asserting that the achievements of the students directly contribute to the success of the entire community.

This initiative underscores the sustained focus of the municipality on bolstering educational opportunities for the coming academic year.
