The trial concerning the killing of Kosovo Police officer Muhamet Lika resumed before the Basic Court in Ferizaj. Prosecutor Rrahmani detailed the timeline of the incident, noting that officer Muhamet Lika was en route to his residence around 10:54 PM on April 1, 2025, after concluding his shift. He reportedly never reached his intended destination. Rrahmani stated that the police officer was killed by firearms at the hands of a minor identified as Rejhan Bela.
The prosecutor emphasized that the security camera footage identifies Rejhan Bela as the direct perpetrator responsible for the killing, while five other suspects are also implicated in the events. The proceedings centered on establishing the scope of involvement among the accused. The prosecution’s case argues that the involvement of the multiple suspects was integral to the successful commission of the crime against Muhamet Lika.
