Port: The water situation in Gostivar is normalizing

The Mayor of Gostivar Municipality, Valbon Limani, announced today that the epidemiological situation within the city has stabilized and improved. Addressing recent concerns, Limani confirmed that municipal efforts are underway to resolve the disruption to the water supply. According to the Mayor, coordination efforts were recently held involving both state-level and local crisis staff.

These meetings resulted in several recommendations aimed at improving public services. Limani stated that the epidemiological situation is noticeably calmer, paralleling the expected recovery of the water infrastructure. He reported that the Gostivar Communal Public Enterprise has commenced cooperation with water experts from Skopje to address the immediate needs of the populace.

Limani assured residents that the provision of water for both daily use and drinking purposes is anticipated to resume shortly. The statement serves as an update following previous restrictions, recalling a period when the use of drinking water within the city was temporarily banned. The ongoing involvement of external experts signals a concerted effort to restore normal utility services.
