Six drivers were involved in a collision in Ferizaj, four of whom were driving under the influence of alcohol.

The Ferizaj Regional Police conducted additional traffic controls early on the morning of April 26th, resulting in penalties for six drivers who were found to have committed serious traffic violations. The enforcement actions took place across Ferizaj, focusing on compliance with safe driving practices. A significant portion of the enforcement involved checks for impaired operation of vehicles.

On “Dëshmorët e Kombit” street, four drivers were stopped after testing positive for alcohol. One individual, identified as V.B., aged 25, who was operating an Audi, registered an alcohol level of 1.11 per mille. This resulted in penalties including a fine of 300 euros, the assignment of two negative points, and a six-month suspension from driving.

Furthermore, three other drivers were addressed for alcohol-related violations. These individuals—R.R.N. (25), O.T.

(26), and Ç.B. (25)—were recorded with blood alcohol concentrations of 1.00, 0.88, and 0.86 per mille, respectively. For these three, the police issued fines totaling 200 euros and two negative points each.

These routine but critical controls underscore the local police department’s commitment to maintaining road safety standards within the Ferizaj area. The penalties issued serve as official deterrents, emphasizing the legal consequences associated with operating a vehicle while under the influence.
