Three defendants, Dragisha Viqentijeviq, Jovan Viqentijeviq, and Igor Dimoviq, were presented to the Basic Court in Pristina on Monday while under security measures. The court session is scheduled to commence at 10:00 AM at the Palace of Justice. During the proceedings on April 9, the defendants were declared not guilty and declined to read the indictment.
The indictment, issued by the Special Prosecutor’s Office, alleges that on November 29, 2024, within the village of Varagë, located in the Zubin Potok Municipality, explosives were placed in a section of the “Ibër Lepenc” channel. The charges specify that the Viqentijeviq family, alongside several unidentified individuals, were responsible for placing approximately 20 kilograms of Trinitrotoluene, or “TNT,” inside the channel. The indictment specifically accuses the Viqentijeviq brothers concerning the substance.
The defendants remain under judicial supervision as the case proceeds through the legal system.
