KRU “Gjakova” has issued an advisory following monitoring of its supply areas, confirming the detection of turbidity within the Hoçë e Madhe supply zone, located in the Rahoveci Municipality. According to the company’s official announcement, the recent heavy rainfall has resulted in water quality levels that are temporarily outside established consumption standards. Consequently, KRU “Gjakova” has strongly advised all consumers in the affected area to refrain from using the local water supply for any drinking purposes until further notice.

The utility company emphasized that this precaution is necessary due to the current deviation from permissible quality metrics. The management of KRU “Gjakova” stated that the situation is undergoing continuous and rigorous monitoring by technical teams.
