Speaking in an interview with the Serbian portal Nova, Trifoviq indicated her readiness to pursue legal action against the state, though she emphasized that her primary goal is the complete revelation of the crime. Trifoviq stated that she believes the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, possesses knowledge of the incident’s full circumstances but has remained silent.
“I will sue the state. But let the truth be told,” she asserted. She further commented on the implications of the truth emerging, noting, “Vučić has declared that the public will be shocked when they learn the truth.
It does not matter who committed the murders, but who gave the order.”
According to Trifoviq, the families of the victims have been seeking answers for several years, while she contends that Serbian institutions have failed to adequately investigate the case. Her statements underscore a persistent demand for accountability from the state concerning the circumstances surrounding Dragan Trifoviq’s death.
