This incident took place between the Draganiq rest area and the Karlovac junction, affecting traffic traveling in the direction of Dubrovnik. The collision initially caused a substantial queue extending up to 25 kilometers, though this congestion was later reported to have diminished to several kilometers. Furthermore, heavy traffic was observed on the state road DC1 Zagreb–Karlovac–Split, commonly referred to as the old Karlovac road.
