Official: Nedim Bajrami moves to Saudi club Al Taawoun

Nedim Bajrami has concluded his tenure with Rangers, transferring to Al Taawoun in Saudi Arabia. The transfer agreement has been finalized, with the Saudi club officially confirming the signing of the Albanian midfielder. Bajrami joins the Saudi club on loan, which includes an option for a permanent purchase.

Should Al Taawoun exercise this option, Nedim will commit to a three-year contract, keeping him contracted within the Saudi Pro League until 2029. Rangers is anticipated to receive approximately three million euros from the sale of Bajrami, who is one of several players departing “Ibrox” during the current transfer window. The announcement was made by Al Taawoun, which introduced Bajrami to the public.

The transfer marks a move from the Albanian peaks to Buraidah, the location of the Saudi club. This move solidifies Bajrami’s presence in the Saudi football market. His initial loan spell provides a pathway for the Saudi club to secure his services long-term, should the option to buy be utilized.

The transfer signifies a significant transaction for both the departing player and the Scottish club.
