Zelensky released dramatic footage – Russian drone chased and attacked a Ukrainian civilian

A video recently circulated by Ukrainian authorities depicts a Russian drone allegedly tracking and attacking a Ukrainian civilian riding an electric bicycle. The footage, reportedly captured by the drone itself, shows the operator following the victim for an extended period before deploying an explosive device. In response to the incident, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky issued a strong appeal to the international community, urging decisive action against Russia.

Zelensky stated that the evidence demonstrates Russia’s alleged disregard for civilian life, arguing that its military actions show a pattern of violence against non-combatants. He asserted that without mounting pressure on Russia and dismantling its aggressive capabilities, global coexistence is unattainable. The President emphasized that the protection of civilian life must remain paramount, calling for Russia to seriously consider peace negotiations rather than escalating the use of military technology like drones.

Zelensky framed the conflict as exceeding purely Ukrainian concerns. He specifically called upon nations including Finland, Kazakhstan, the Baltic states, Poland, the countries of the South Caucasus, Romania, and Moldova to collaborate on providing tangible security guarantees to end the war. Zelensky concluded by stating that lasting peace requires the cooperation of all nations committed to peaceful resolutions.
