The Regional Police in Ferizaj reported that enhanced activities were maintained over the past 24 hours, focusing on improving safety within the traffic system. Police units from multiple stations, including Ferizaj, Kaçanik, Shtime, Shtërpcë, and Han e Elezit, conducted continuous road checks as part of efforts to prevent vehicular accidents and enhance safety for all road users. During this reporting period, a total of 16 accidents were recorded.
Of these incidents, five resulted in bodily injuries, affecting seven individuals. The remaining 11 accidents were reported to have caused only material damage. In addition to monitoring for incidents, the police conducted numerous enforcement checks.
During these patrols, 274 fines were issued for various traffic violations across the region. These measures underscore the ongoing commitment of the Regional Police in Ferizaj to maintaining public safety and adherence to traffic regulations.
