A woman in Wuhan, China, who underwent a minor cosmetic procedure on her nose has alleged she suffered severe facial disfigurement following the surgery. According to reports, the woman initially sought only a minimal correction to improve her appearance, but the outcome deviated significantly from her expectations. She claims that the operation resulted in substantial changes to the shape of her face, leading to asymmetry and other issues concerning her nose.
The patient, who used the pseudonym Xiaoyu, stated that the intended procedure was merely to reposition the lower part of her nose by two millimeters. However, she alleges that the actual movement was approximately thirteen millimeters forward. This alleged deviation, she claims, has made her nose appear more prominent and has visibly altered the overall structure of her face.
After the procedure, the woman reported noticing major changes in her facial features. The severity of the alleged outcome has prompted concern regarding the standard of care provided during the cosmetic intervention on her nose.
