Reshitaj: It is normal to hold a meeting the day before the constitutive session of Parliament

Albena Reshitaj, an elected deputy from the LDK, stated to the media that it is standard practice for the party’s Parliamentary Group to hold a preparatory meeting the day before the constitutive session of Parliament. Speaking before the commencement of the meeting, Reshitaj indicated that such a gathering is routine. “This is the first time I have participated in the meeting of the LDK Parliamentary Group; we will see how the entire meeting goes, and I believe a statement will be given afterward,” Reshitaj told reporters.

She elaborated that while the following day marks the initial session for the constitution of Parliament, it is entirely normal for a working meeting to take place beforehand. According to reports, Reshitaj emphasized that convening a preparatory session the day before the main parliamentary proceedings is a customary procedure. Her comments addressed the timing of the gathering relative to the formal commencement of the legislative session.

The discussion at the LDK Parliamentary Group meeting serves as a preparatory step for the formal constitution of the Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo. For Reshitaj, the meeting structure itself is part of the expected protocol leading up to the plenary session.
