Four individuals were arrested in Suharekë on suspicion of possessing narcotics without authorization. According to a report from the Kosovo Police, the incident took place on August 5, 2026, at approximately 9:20 PM on “Ali Pashë Tepelena” street in Suharekë. During the search conducted by officers, the police recovered and confiscated a quantity of suspected narcotic substance, identified as marijuana, weighing a total of 25.39 grams.
Additionally, officers also seized a mobile phone, a metal blade, and a package of cigarettes from the suspects. The four suspects, all identified as Kosovo citizens, were subsequently interviewed by the police authorities. Following the review of the evidence, the prosecutor decided to detain one of the individuals while allowing the remaining three to be released.
The case is expected to proceed through standard legal procedures. Competent authorities are currently investigating the matter to determine the full scope of the circumstances surrounding the arrests.
