A man was taken into custody in Brezovicë following an investigation into the illegal possession of weapons. According to a report issued by the Kosovo Police, the incident took place on August 5, 2026, around 4:30 PM. Authorities reported that three local citizens were allegedly threatened with a firearm by an individual during a dispute.
Following the confrontation, police officers apprehended the individual. During the subsequent search conducted at the scene, officers successfully confiscated a pistol and eighteen cartridges. After questioning, and subsequent to a decision by the prosecutor’s office, the suspect was formally detained.
The police action stemmed from concerns regarding the unauthorized carrying of weaponry within the community.
