Gërvalla: The 11th Legislature will be one of great economic development and judicial reform

The acting Minister of Justice, Donika Gërvalla, confirmed that preparations are underway for the constitution of the 11th Legislature of the Kosovo Parliament. Gërvalla stated that significant efforts are being directed toward resolving the current environment, which she characterized as unsatisfactory for all stakeholders, particularly the citizens of Kosovo. Speaking on the occasion, Gërvalla emphasized the importance of the parliamentary process following recent democratic elections.

She expressed considerable optimism regarding the mandate of the incoming body. According to the Minister, the formation of this new legislature is anticipated to usher in a period marked by substantial economic development and deep structural reforms within the justice sector. “Today marks a significant moment for democracy in our country,” Gërvalla stated.

“Following the parliamentary elections, we are proceeding to constitute the parliament with the goal of exiting a situation that is unsatisfactory to everyone, especially the citizens of Kosovo.”

She continued by conveying her belief in the capacity of the new assembly. Gërvalla asserted that she is highly optimistic that this forthcoming legislature will prove to be one of the most productive periods for the nation. Her remarks highlighted the administration’s commitment to using the parliamentary platform to enact meaningful legal and economic changes, thereby improving the governance framework for the populace.
