A person who was receiving treatment at the Kosovo University Clinical Center (KUCC) has died following an incident that occurred in Lipjan. According to an update from the Kosovo Police, the initial report concerning the case was filed on August 4, 2026, around 11:00 PM. The police originally classified the incident as involving a “Deceased Body” and a “Death Investigation.”
The authorities reported that the victim, who was under medical care at the KUCC, passed away on August 5, 2026.
A doctor confirmed the death. Following a directive from the prosecutor’s office, the body was transferred to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death remains active.
