According to published statistics, the incidence of students being flagged or cautioned for unauthorized use of AI tools has increased by 688 percent during the 2023–2025 period.
In response to this trend, the Swedish government has commissioned an official review. The purpose of this review is to analyze the current methods employed by educational institutions to address academic misconduct facilitated by these new technologies.
