New investment in health in Istog, QMF opens in Gurrakoc

The Municipality of Istog has officially inaugurated the Family Medicine Center located in Gurrakoc, a new facility intended to enhance local health services and improve living conditions for area residents. The opening ceremony featured the cutting of the ribbon by the Mayor of the Municipality of Istog, Ilir Ferati, alongside the Director of Health, Fisnik Shoshaj, and the head of the Islamic Community of Kosovo, Myftiu Naim Tërnava. According to the municipality’s official statement, the realization of this vital project was made possible through a donation from the State of Kuwait.

This donation was facilitated through the commitment and mediation efforts of the Islamic Community of Kosovo. The establishment of this new center is anticipated to bring essential health services closer to the community, thereby improving the accessibility and quality of primary healthcare for the citizens of Istog.
