Vaksina që mbron nga kanceri: Pse rekomandohet në adoleshencë dhe jo më vonë

Researchers at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden are investigating a vaccine’s potential to prevent cancer, focusing on its effectiveness against both cancer and the human papillomavirus (HPV). The study, led by epidemiologists Dr. Jiayao Lei and Dr.

Shiqiang Wu, is currently underway with animal trials. Initial findings indicate the vaccine demonstrates a significant impact in preventing cancer in animal models. Data analysis reveals a 70% reduction in cancer risk within the animal subjects.

Simultaneously, researchers are examining the vaccine’s relationship with HPV, a virus known to cause cervical cancer. While the results in animals are promising, scientists emphasize that the vaccine’s efficacy in humans remains uncertain. Further research is needed to determine whether the observed protective effects will translate to human subjects.

The ongoing investigation aims to gather comprehensive data to assess the vaccine’s potential as a preventative measure against cancer and its connection to HPV. The team hopes the research will ultimately contribute to a better understanding of cancer prevention strategies.
