Reports from local media indicate that armed Israeli individuals attacked Palestinian vehicles on Abu Najim Street, located south of Bethlehem. During the incident, the attackers are also suspected of targeting medical personnel who were attempting to reach three injured Palestinians. According to this source, there were 3,488 attacks recorded against Palestinians in the West Bank during the first half of 2026. Furthermore, the data indicates that these attacks resulted in the deaths of 17 Palestinians.
In addition to fatalities, the same report noted that 26 Bedouin communities experienced forced displacement, either in full or in part, during this period.
