Alliance Deputy Burim Ramadani commented on the ongoing blockade at the Parliament, criticizing Vetëvendosje for what he termed irresponsibility and a waste of institutional time. In a statement shared via Facebook, Ramadani asserted that deputies should be present in the legislative hall to vote on legislation beneficial to the citizenry. He stated that the Parliament was currently facing a blockade orchestrated by the ruling party.
“Day 3 of the blockade of the Parliament by Vetëvendosje! Today, the deputies of this legislature should be gathered in the hall to vote on laws that ease the lives of the citizens. Instead, we are facing a blockade and total irresponsibility from the ruling party,” Ramadani wrote.
Ramadani further warned that Kosovo was losing valuable time due to the impasse and maintained that the responsibility for the situation was clear. The Alliance Deputy urged action within the parliamentary setting. His comments highlighted the political tension surrounding the legislative process, with Ramadani directly addressing the actions taken by Vetëvendosje regarding the functioning of the Parliament.
The dispute centers on the need to pass laws affecting daily life, which he believes is being obstructed by the current blockade.
