This latest count brings the cumulative number of registered measles cases across Kosovo to a total of 112. The data indicates a notable rise in the incidence rate. As of April 10, a total of 62 cases had been officially reported in the country. By August 10, an additional 50 new cases were added, establishing the current total of 112 confirmed measles cases.
Geographically, the spread of the disease shows varying concentrations across different municipalities. Pristina recorded the highest number of cases with 37 instances. Following this, Lushnjë-Kosovo reported 29 cases, and Ferizaj accounted for 12 cases.
Additional cases have also been documented in other regions, including Kaçanik with 7 cases and Obiliq with 6 cases. These figures provide a detailed overview of the current public health situation regarding measles within Kosovo.
