Oil prices rise again, MINTI publishes derivative prices

The Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade, and Innovation has released the maximum allowable retail prices for various oil derivatives for August 19, 2026. According to the Ministry’s announcement, the cost of oil saw a minor increase of one cent compared to the previous day’s rates, while the set maximum prices for gasoline and gas remained unchanged. The new official maximum prices, effective at 10:00 AM, are detailed as follows: Diesel (oil) is set at 1.77 euros per liter, Gasoline at 1.49 euros per liter, and Gas at 0.62 euros per liter.

The Ministry advises that consumers with questions or complaints regarding these derivative prices should direct their inquiries to the appropriate regulatory institutions rather than the Ministry itself. This update establishes the current market ceiling for fuel consumption across the board. The publication of these figures serves to inform the public of the regulated costs associated with key energy commodities, ensuring transparency in the fuel market structure.
