Serious theft in Leposaviq, three suspects arrested

The Kosovo police reported the arrest of three individuals in connection with a robbery incident that occurred in Leposaviq on August 20. The investigation was initiated after a complaint alleging that unknown persons entered a residence while the occupants were absent, resulting in the theft of substantial property. According to the complainant, the stolen items included 12,000 euros, 40,000 dinars, and two gold chains.

The case was managed by the Regional Investigation Unit stationed in North Mitrovica. Following comprehensive investigative and operational efforts, and with the assistance of local citizens, the police successfully identified four suspects. Of these individuals, three were subsequently apprehended by the police, while one remains at large.

In coordination with the State Prosecutor’s Office, law enforcement conducted searches at the residences of the identified suspects. One notable arrest was made in the village of Borovë, Lepos, where an individual identified as N.V., born in 2006, was taken into custody. The police confirmed that the ongoing investigation continues to process the details surrounding the break-in and the recovered stolen goods, ensuring that all necessary legal procedures are followed regarding the arrested suspects.
