The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport has announced temporary circulation restrictions affecting heavy transport vehicles today. These limitations are specifically imposed on vehicles exceeding 20 tons. The restrictions will be active on the main highway between 11:00 AM and 5:30 PM.
This measure has been implemented due to the forecast indicating temperatures reaching 32°C or higher. However, the ministry clarified that circulation on national, regional, and connecting roads remains unrestricted. Furthermore, several categories of vehicles are exempt from these temporary restrictions.
Exemptions have been granted to law enforcement, public security services, emergency services, and vehicles associated with health institutions. The Ministry’s announcement advises all transport operators and drivers to adhere strictly to the specified circulation schedule. It urges the public to plan their movements accordingly to ensure smooth traffic flow while the restrictions are in effect today.
