PDK continues with a symbolic action in front of the Government, with deputies present from the city of Shtime and the Fushë Kosova region.

The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) held a demonstration today in front of the Government of Kosovo, reiterating its demand that the acting Prime Minister advance the proposal for a Speaker of Parliament. This action is viewed as a necessary step toward the formal constitution of the Assembly. The PDK Parliamentary Group, accompanied by assembly members and activists from the cities of Shtime and Lushnjë, gathered at the front of the government building to voice their concerns.

The demonstration underscores the party’s continued focus on the legislative process and the need for institutional progress. Furthermore, the PDK has taken prior action regarding governmental appointments. One day earlier, the party filed a criminal complaint against Albin Kurti and several government members.

The complaint alleges that these individuals are holding dual positions, which the PDK argues constitutes a violation of ethical or legal standards. These actions represent the PDK’s sustained effort to influence the political agenda and ensure the smooth functioning of Kosovo’s governance structures. The demonstrations and legal complaints aim to press the acting Prime Minister to move forward with the appointment of a Speaker, thereby enabling the full establishment of the parliamentary body.
