Deçani receives 2.3 million euros for social housing

The Municipality of Deçani has executed a Grant Agreement under the Adequate Social Housing Project (ASHP). This initiative is designed to enhance the living standards for underprivileged families within the region. According to a statement issued by the Municipality of Deçani, the signing of the agreement occurred following a meeting between Mayor Bashkim Ramosaj and the Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning, Fitore Pacolli Dalipi.

This comprehensive agreement provides the Municipality of Deçani with access to funding amounting to up to 2.375 million euros. The allocated investment funds are slated for several key housing improvements. Specifically, the funds will support the construction of new social housing units.

Furthermore, the budget will facilitate the renovation of existing homes belonging to families facing hardship, as well as the reconstruction of residences for particularly vulnerable families. The secured funding represents a significant resource for the local government’s housing initiatives. The total sum of up to 2.375 million euros will enable the municipality to undertake substantial development work, directly addressing critical needs related to shelter and improved living conditions for its residents.

This partnership is expected to significantly upgrade the residential infrastructure across the municipality.
