An analysis conducted by “Pari” provides an illustration of the potential financial impact should the adjustment settle at three percent. The difference in absolute value across various income levels is notable. For instance, a pension amount of 20,000 denars would see an estimated rise of approximately 600 denars, while a pension of 25,000 denars could increase by around 750 denars.
The calculation demonstrates that higher pension amounts receive proportionally larger absolute increases. Specifically, a pension valued at 30,000 denars might see an increase of 900 denars. For a higher bracket, such as 50,000 denars, the estimated increase stands at approximately 1,500 denars.
Furthermore, a pension of 94,332 denars, subjected to a three percent adjustment, would rise to an estimated 97,162 denars, representing an increase of 2,830 denars. These preliminary figures outline the potential scope of the adjustments scheduled for September, indicating that the percentage increase will result in a greater monetary gain for recipients with higher pension entitlements.
