The Kosovo Police have reported a fatal traffic accident that occurred in the village of Llabjan, located in Novobërdë, on Friday evening. The incident, which took place at approximately 10:08 PM, involved a male pedestrian who was struck by two separate vehicles. According to police reports, the sequence of events began when a male Kosovo driver initially struck the pedestrian with his vehicle.
Shortly thereafter, the victim was subsequently hit by a second vehicle, also operated by a male Kosovo driver. The injuries sustained from the multiple impacts proved fatal. Following the incident, the body was transported to the Institute of Forensic Medicine, where a post-mortem examination was ordered by the prosecutor’s office.
In response to the collision, police authorities immediately detained both drivers involved in the accident. Both individuals have been taken into custody pending further investigation into the circumstances surrounding the pedestrian’s death. The police investigation is currently focused on determining the precise sequence of events that led to the pedestrian being hit twice.
